2008 Ladies 9-Hole Golf Leagues

We are proud to announce a variety of ladies' play opportunities at Stonebrooke and Waters Edge Golf Courses. If you are looking for a social atmosphere, this is for you. If you are looking for a little competition, this is for you. These leagues are designed to be as competitive as you want them to be. If you want to mix it up with new partners each week, let us know. If you want to play with the same group, that's fine, too. Each league is managed by golf professionals so you know they will be organized and fair. Play in more than one league if you wish. League players are invited to special golf clinics offered during the year.

9-Hole League at Stonebrooke Golf Club

The 9-Hole Ladies League at Stonebrooke Golf Club is a 16-week league from April 29 to August 26, split into two seasons. Play is on Tuesday evenings with a shotgun start at 5:45 p.m.

League play will alternate between the front and back nine each week. You will play with the same foursome each week. Please indicate on the registration form the names of each person in your foursome. If you don't have a group, you are welcome to sign up anyway and the golf staff will find a group for you.

In the event of inclement weather a decision will be made by the Pro Shop. Please call 952-496-3171 by 4:30 p.m..

9-Hole League at Waters Edge Golf Course

The 9-Hole Ladies League at Waters Edge Golf Course is a 10-week league from June 12 to August 21. Play is on Thursday mornings with tee times beginning at 9 a.m.

You will play with the same foursome each week. Please indicate on the registration form the names of each person in your foursome. If you don't have a group, you are welcome to sign up anyway and the golf staff will find a group for you.

League Meeting - "Tee Off Dinner"

This year we will be having a "Tee Off Dinner" on Tuesday, April 15th at the Stonebrooke Clubhouse. If you have pre-registered, if you have any questions before committing or are looking for playing partners or if you wish to sign up for a league, please attend the Tee Off Dinner. League players are welcome to invite guests to attend - maybe they will choose to join us in a league. Dinner is FREE for pre-registered players. Guests are $20. Social: 5 p.m.; Informational meeting: 6 p.m.; Dinner: 6:30 p.m..

Registration

Players who participated in league play in 2007 may reserve your 2008 spot until February 15, 2008. After that, registration forms will be honored on a first-come-first serve basis. Click here to download printable registration form.

Payment must be received by March 23rd, 2008.

Games and Prizes

Each league will have a variety of games. The Stonebrooke league will have individual and team games, including a Team Game, Weekly Game and Ringer Board. The Waters Edge league will have individual and weekly games. Prize certificates will be awarded to winning individuals or foursome each week. This format allows for a variety of games and prizes each week. Subs will not be eligible for individual games but will be eligible to participate in team events using 80% of what they score.

All points are awarded using your league handicap rather than your USGA handicap.

The Stonebrooke League is divided into two eight-week seasons and pay-offs will be determined by the number of participants.
