2008 Ladies 18-Hole Golf League
We are proud to announce a variety of ladies' play opportunities at Stonebrooke and Waters Edge Golf Courses. If you are looking for a social atmosphere, this is for you. If you are looking for a a little competition, this is for you. These leagues are designed to be as competitive as you want them to be. If you want to mix it up with new partners each week, let us know. If you want to play with the same group, that's fine, too. Each league is managed by golf professional so you know they will be organized and fair. Play in more than one league if you wish. League players are invited to special golf clinics offered during the year.

18-Hole League at Stonebrooke Golf Club
The 18-Hole Ladies League
is a 16-week league on Wednesday mornings with tee times or a shotgun start depending on players.. League play begins on Wednesday, April 30 and ends on Wednesday,
August 27th , 2008.
You will play in the same foursome each week.
Please indicate on the registration form the names of each person in your
foursome. If you don't have a group, sign up
anyway and the golf staff will find a group for you.
In the event of inclement weather a decision will be made by the Pro
Shop by 7:00 a.m. Please call the Pro Shop at 952-496-3171.
League Meeting - "Tee Off Dinner"
This year we will have a "Tee Off Dinner" on Tuesday, April 15 at the Stonebrooke Clubhouse. If you have pre-registered, if you have any questions before committing or are looking for playing partners, or if you wish to sign up for a league, please attend the Tee Off Dinner. League players are welcome to invite guests to attend - maybe they will choose to join us in a league. Dinner is FREE for pre-registered players. Guests are $20. Social: 5 p.m.; Iinformational meeting: 6 p.m.; Dinner: 6:30 p.m.
Registration
Players who participated in league play in 2007 may reserve your 2008 spot until February 15, 2008. After that, registration forms will be honored on
a first-come-first-serve basis. Click here for printable registration form.
Games and Prizes
League play will have a variety of games including a Skins Game and a Weekly Game. Sign up as a group or individually. Prize certificates will be awarded to winning individuals or foursome each week. This format allows for a variety of games and prizes each week. Subs will not be eligible for individual games, but will be eligible to participate in team events using 80% of what they score.
Format
League play will be scored on a TEAM basis using the Stable Ford system; the highest three of the four players´ scores will count. Points are as follows:
- 1 point for Net Bogey
- 2 Points for Net Par
- 3 Points for a Net Birdie
- 4 Points for a Net Eagle
All points are awarded using your league handicap rather than your USGA handicap. The league is divided into two eight-week seasons and pay-offs will be determined by the number of participants.
